The Kujukuri area offers tourist attractions such as Kujukuri Beach, Hasunuma Seaside Park, and Gokurakuji Temple; tourist events such as the Mobara Tanabata Festival, Industrial Festival, and Yogape Festival; and local delicacies such as white gyoza, botan nabe, and sardine dishes.
Mobara is located in the center of Chiba Prefecture and is Japan's largest producer of natural gas. Summer temperatures are high, and extremely hot days are not uncommon.
Togane is located on the border between the Kujukuri Plain and the Boso Plateau, and has developed mainly through agriculture. The Keiyo Line and other lines run through the city, providing easy access to the city center.

Mobara has a local delicacy called Mobara-men. This ramen is loaded with pork belly and Mobara leeks, and is now a popular menu item at many Mobara ramen shops. Crackers and monaka with star motifs are also popular.
On Kujukuri Beach, you can enjoy fresh seafood grilled on the beach. Freshly harvested clams, turban shells, abalone, and other seafood are grilled to perfection and enjoyed with gusto. The generous portions will satisfy everyone.
The Mobara Tanabata Festival, held every year in late July, is one of the three major Tanabata festivals in the Kanto region, along with Hiratsuka and Sayama. During the festival, Tanabata decorations line the shopping street at Mobara Station, and events such as the Mobara Awa Odori dance and the Chiba Yosakoi Summer Festival are also held. The event is so big that it is even broadcast live on TV.
Another highlight is Mobara Park, where nearly 3,000 cherry trees are planted. Selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan, the park is illuminated at night so that visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.
If you live with your dog, Lakewoods Garden Himeharu no Sato is recommended. Enjoy the expansive dog run and rose garden. Trimming and training classes are also available.
Lake Yatsuru, an artificial lake in Togane, is surrounded by approximately 1,000 cherry trees, and the Togane Cherry Blossom Festival is held during the season. Furthermore, from Sannodai Park on high ground, one can see as far as Kujukuri-hama Beach.
In addition, there are many beaches on Kujukuri-hama, ranging from beaches suitable for swimming to private-style beaches. In addition to swimming, visitors can also enjoy ocean fishing, surfing, and enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean.
