Kashiwa and Matsudo are home to such tourist attractions as Akebonoyama Agricultural Park, Teganuma Marsh, Yagiri no Ferry, Hondoji Temple famous for its hydrangeas, Kikkoman Monochiri Soy Sauce Museum, Chiba Prefectural Sekiyado Castle Museum, and Nagareyama Honcho, the birthplace of white mirin.
