The Chiba City, Urayasu, and Makuhari area offers tourist attractions such as Makuhari Messe, Shimizu Park, and Atago Shrine; sightseeing events such as illumination, Kashiwa Festival, and Suijin Festival; and local delicacies such as white gyoza, botan nabe, and futomaki sushi.

Chiba City, Urayasu and Makuhari area is located facing Tokyo Bay in Chiba Prefecture and is known as the Bay Area. Urayasu is adjacent to Tokyo's Edogawa Ward, while Chiba and Makuhari are at the base of the Boso Peninsula.
Urayasu is home to a resort complex that includes Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Japan's leading theme parks, as well as shopping malls and hotels.
Visitors can enjoy attractions themed on Disney characters and restaurants offering gourmet food from around the world. Many hotels are also located in the surrounding area.
In addition, there are hot spring amusement facilities in Urayasu City where visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor baths, bathing in swimsuits, and dining facilities, making this an area that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.
Makuhari has a large convention center, commercial facilities, and hotels. Although located a short distance from Tokyo, Makuhari also offers a resort atmosphere unique to the Bay Area.
Makuhari Messe is a large convention center that hosts events, exhibitions, and music festivals. Nearby is the Chiba Marine Stadium, home to the local baseball team, which also hosts a fireworks display in the summer.
There is also an outlet mall near Kaihin-Makuhari Station, which can be visited by train. Makuhari Seaside Park was developed under the theme of "City Park of Greenery and Sea" and is a popular place for relaxation.
The area around Chiba Station is a commercial area with department stores and shopping malls. Chiba Port Tower is located near Chiba Minato Station and was built as a symbol of Chiba Prefecture. Chiba Port Tower has an observation deck, a marine exhibition room, and a marine products center that sells souvenirs and offers a view of the bay area.
The Chiba City, Urayasu, and Makuhari areas are also easily accessible by train or car from central Tokyo. Large urban tourist attractions, including the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, are located in this area, which also offers the openness of a city by the sea.
